2010 Walk News Plans for the 14th annual Cook and Care Walk-A-Thon are underway!
The Walk will be held on October 17, 2010 and will begin at Edgerton Park.

Blanche Baldwin 24 June 1927– 6 July 2010 The 14th Annual Cook and Care Walk-a-thon is in memory of Blanche Baldwin. Blanche had a long history of giving to those in need. She gave of her time, talent and energy to various groups and organizations in the New Haven area. She was a long time board member and volunteer of Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen, and most recently she was the president of the DESK board. Blanche was a faithful supporter of Cook and Care. She helped raise money and was an integral part of the planning and executing of the event. Blanche dedicated her life to the welfare of others. Her generous spirit will be missed. . |
